Xeno Energy

Xeno Energy XL-050F 3.6V 1/2 AA 1.2Ah Lithium Battery 8-Pack

SKU CH-T86T-5PGGQ

Eight 3.6V 1/2 AA lithium thionyl chloride cells deliver 1.2Ah capacity, 10+ year shelf life and −55°C to +85°C operation

  • Battery type1/2 AA Lithium
  • Reliable power for a decade with 10+ year shelf life
  • Stable 3.6V output maintained through most of the battery lifetime
  • High 1.2Ah capacity in compact 1/2 AA lithium form
  • Operates from -55°C to +85°C for extreme environments
  • Less than 1% self-discharge at 20°C preserves stored energy

1/2 AA Lithium Thionyl Chloride 8-Pack

These Xeno XL-050F cells supply 3.6 volts and 1.2 Ah each in the 1/2 AA form factor. They target engineers and technicians who need dependable primary power for remote sensors, utility meters, alarms and similar low-drain equipment.

1.2 Ah capacity with 30 mA continuous limit

The 1.2 Ah rating delivers long run-time for devices drawing up to 30 mA continuously or 60 mA in short pulses. Higher sustained loads will exhaust the cells quickly, so they are unsuitable for motors, bright LEDs or radio transmitters with heavy duty cycles.

Button-top termination and 10-year shelf life

Button tops allow direct placement in standard 1/2 AA holders without solder tabs. The lithium thionyl chloride chemistry loses less than 1 % capacity per year at 20 °C, so spares stay viable for a decade, and the non-flammable electrolyte adds safety in sealed enclosures.

Questions about this item

Will the 1/2 AA size and 3.6V output match the Tadiran TL-4902 cells I already use?

Yes, the XL-050F is listed as compatible with the Tadiran TL-4902 and shares the same 1/2 AA dimensions and 3.6V nominal voltage.

How can I verify the 1.2Ah capacity is genuine after installation?

Under a steady 30mA load the voltage should remain stable for the rated duration; a sharp drop would indicate a capacity shortfall.

Does the 8-pack include any holders, tabs or soldering hardware?

No, the pack contains only the eight button-top cells; any mounting hardware or tabs must be sourced separately.
