Cord Outdoor Switch Cord

This 1.5 ft extension cord adds a waterproof on/off switch between a grounded 3-prong plug and a matching outlet. It is built for outdoor lighting runs where a short reach and direct switching are needed. The UL-listed 14 AWG SJTW construction supports 15 A at 125 V for up to 1875 W of connected load.

Switch Rating and Weather Limits

The integrated switch is rated for the same 15 A 125 V circuit and is waterproof for outdoor use. The cord itself uses SJTW jacket material suited for temporary outdoor exposure. The manufacturer notes that cord connections still benefit from a separate weatherproof cover in wet environments.

1875 W Capacity and Short Reach

At 1875 W the cord comfortably runs multiple string-light sets, patio fans or small fountain pumps on a single circuit. The 1.5 ft length limits placement to equipment near the receptacle; longer runs require a different cord. Builders needing higher amperage or extended distance should select a heavier-gauge, longer alternative.
