External WiFi 6 6E Antenna

This dual-band antenna connects to motherboards with dual SMA inner-pin ports and supports WiFi 6 and WiFi 6e standards. The magnetic base allows flexible placement on a desktop case for improved reception. An 80 cm cable links the antenna to the SMA or RP-SMA connector on a compatible PCI-E wireless card. It works with Intel AX200, AX201, AX210, AX211 and earlier wireless modules.

Replaces stock whip antennas

The unit upgrades the short fixed antennas that ship with many ASUS ROG Strix Z590, Z690 and Z790 boards as well as Gigabyte, MSI, ASRock, Biostar and Colorful WiFi models. The longer cable lets you move the antenna away from metal panels and power supplies that degrade signal. The gain is worthwhile when the rear I/O area is crowded or the case sits under a desk.

Limited by SMA connector and cable length

The RP-SMA interface caps the maximum practical cable run at the supplied 80 cm; longer runs would increase loss beyond the antenna's gain. Tri-band 2.4G/5G operation covers 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax but the antenna cannot add 6 GHz support to a card that lacks WiFi 6e hardware. Bluetooth co-existence depends on the wireless module, not the antenna itself.
