What the XMZ-V01 video walkie talkie does

The XMZ-V01 is a two-pack of rechargeable video walkie talkies built for children aged three to twelve. Each unit transmits both audio and video on the 462-467 Mhz band with 12 preset stations. The set includes lanyards and a USB Type-C charger for the embedded 3.7 volt battery.

Upgrading from audio-only walkie talkies

Traditional audio-only walkie talkies cannot show the caller's surroundings. The XMZ-V01 adds live video so children can see each other up to 300 metres outdoors. The jump is worth it when visual contact matters for games, camping or family outings.

Check your setup before ordering

The radios operate on 12 fixed channels in the 462-467 Mhz range with 1v1 single-channel encryption. They need no internet connection and pair automatically. Buyers who want more channels, longer range or smartphone integration should look elsewhere.
