Compact Drawing Tablet for OSU! Players

The XPPEN StarG430S is a 4 x 3 inch graphics tablet built for OSU! gameplay and digital sketching. Its ultrathin 2 mm profile makes it easy to carry and set up on any desk. The passive P01 stylus requires no battery or charging. Plug-and-play support means OSU! players can start immediately without installing drivers.

Passive Stylus With 8192 Pressure Levels

The battery-free pen delivers 8192 pressure levels and a 5080 lpi resolution for precise input. Accuracy is rated at ±0.01 inch with a 10 mm reading height. A 220 RPS report rate keeps stroke tracking smooth during fast play. Power comes directly from the USB port at 5 V, so no external adapter is needed.

Entry-Level Upgrade From Mouse-Only Input

This tablet replaces mouse-only control for rhythm gaming and basic drawing tasks. The jump is worth it when you want pen pressure sensitivity and a dedicated active area without a large footprint. It is not suited for users who need a larger drawing surface, multi-touch gestures, or a screen-integrated display. Compatibility covers Windows 7 through 10 and Mac OS.

Questions about this item

How do I install the StarG430S and which step do people miss?

Plug the USB cable into the computer; for drawing applications download and run the driver from the manufacturer website before use, while OSU! gameplay works immediately without any driver.

What maintenance will the StarG430S need later?

The passive P01 stylus uses no battery; the package includes ten replacement nibs, so swap a nib when the tip wears down.

What limit appears first during long OSU! sessions on the StarG430S?

The tablet reports at 220 RPS, so sustained rapid input is capped by that report rate.
