Power adapter for Lenovo 10-pin boards

This 24-pin female to 10-pin male AT adapter cable connects a standard ATX power supply to Lenovo motherboards that use a 10-pin main power connector. It is intended for builders upgrading or repairing proprietary Lenovo desktop PCs and servers where a regular 24-pin supply must be used. The cable ships new and includes a single adapter in the package.

Fits between standard PSU and proprietary header

The 30 cm braided-sleeved cable uses 1007-18AWG conductors and plugs directly into the 24-pin output of any compatible ATX supply on one end and the 10-pin motherboard header on the other. Its short length reduces excess wiring inside compact Lenovo chassis and the braided sleeve aids cable management. No additional adapters or converters are required for the physical connection.

Rated for 1000 watts maximum power draw

The adapter supports up to 1000 watts, allowing it to handle high-output power supplies in normal desktop or server workloads. Note that on Lenovo boards the power supply remains energised after a soft shutdown; the fan continues spinning until the mains cable is physically unplugged. This behaviour is inherent to the motherboard design, not the adapter itself.
