Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 360° rotation works smoothly after clamping it on?

After tightening the black knob on a surface up to 2.3 inches thick, swing the hook through a full circle; it should turn freely left or right and stay in any position without binding.

What comes in the package and do I need any tools or extra parts?

The box contains one hook clamp with protective pads and the integrated threaded height adjuster; no screws, glue, drill or additional hardware are required.

Which height setting should I choose for a thick desktop edge?

Use the threaded adjuster to raise the shelf portion up to the maximum 2.68 inches so the clamp clears the desk edge while still gripping securely.
