Product Identity

The Yale 5407LN x 626 is a heavy-duty mechanical lever lockset designed for entrance doors in commercial or high-traffic residential settings. It uses a Best core cylinder and a satin chrome 26D finish to withstand frequent use.

Installation Notes

The lockset fits doors 1 3/8 to 2 inches thick with a 2 3/4 inch backset and a 2 1/4 x 1 1/8 inch front. Builders who need a different backset or a thinner door range cannot use this model without modification.

Mechanical Limits

As a purely mechanical entrance lock, it provides no electronic access control, audit trails or remote management. Buyers who want keyless entry, timed access codes or integration with a building management system must choose a different product class.
