Yarlung 16-Pack Unfinished Wooden Boxes

This 16-pack of unfinished wooden boxes suits crafters, hobbyists and anyone who wants a blank surface for painting, staining, wood-burning or engraving. Each box arrives ready for immediate customisation without any preparation.

Sustained Creative Use

The paulownia wood absorbs inks, acrylics and glue consistently across multiple sessions, so repeated decoration does not degrade the surface. Lightweight construction makes the boxes easy to handle during long crafting periods without fatigue.

Hinged Lid with Bronze Clasp

A hinged lid secured by a bronze front clasp keeps contents from spilling during travel or drawer storage. The natural wood finish sands easily for a smoother feel, while the compact form fits small items such as jewellery, trinkets or keepsakes.

Questions about this item

Does the paulownia wood in the 16 pack boxes warp or crack when left in a warm room all day?

Paulownia is lightweight and stable; it resists warping under normal indoor temperatures and can be sanded or sealed if extra protection is desired.

What tools or supplies do I need before I can start painting or staining these unfinished boxes?

You only need sandpaper, a brush or cloth, and your chosen paint, stain, ink or acrylic — the wood surface is ready to absorb finishes straight from the pack.

Will the bronze front clasp on these boxes still close properly if I add a thick layer of paint or decoupage over the lid?

The clasp has enough clearance for a moderate finish coat; apply thin layers and test the latch before the final coat to ensure it still engages.
