All-in-One Android Collaboration Bar

The Yealink A40-031 is an all-in-one Android video collaboration bar designed for small to medium meeting rooms. It supports MS Teams and Zoom natively and includes BYOD capability for flexible connectivity. The device accommodates six to fifteen attendees and is managed through Yealink web portal and device management platform.

Passive Cooling with 63 dB Signal Ratio

The unit operates without active cooling fans, relying on passive thermal design for silent operation in meeting environments. Camera signal-to-noise ratio exceeds 63 dB, ensuring clean video capture in normal lighting. Power draw remains low during typical conferencing sessions with stereo speaker output.

Dual 48MP Cameras with Electric Privacy Cover

Two 48MP cameras provide 120° diagonal field of view with electronic gimbal and 6x digital zoom across a 1-5 meter depth of field. Electric lens cap delivers physical privacy when meetings end. Eight MEMS microphones capture voice at six meters with optional expansion microphone support for larger spaces. Not suited for rooms exceeding fifteen attendees or deployments requiring HDMI input.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the Yealink A40-031 and which cable is often missed?

Mount the bar on the wall or TV with the included bracket, then connect the single PoE cable to your network switch; the step most people skip is seating the PoE connector fully until it clicks, otherwise the device powers on but has no network link.

Which parts will need replacement after heavy daily use?

The electric privacy cover cycles each meeting; its motor is rated for years but is the only moving part. The 8 MEMS microphones and stereo speakers are solid-state and do not wear out, so only the cover mechanism may eventually need service.

At what room depth does the camera lose auto-framing accuracy?

The depth of field is specified as 1-5 metres; beyond 5 metres the 2×48 MP cameras cannot reliably run IntelliFocus or Speaker Tracking, so auto-framing degrades first in deeper rooms.
