Yelangu MY2 Lavalier Microphone 6.5m Cable 20h Battery

Lavalier microphone for DSLR, camera and phone

The Yelangu MY2 is a wired lavalier microphone designed for interviews, vlogs, live broadcasts and mobile recording. It connects to DSLRs, video cameras, smartphones, tablets and computers through a standard 3.5mm plug. The omnidirectional condenser capsule captures voice from any angle without needing precise placement. It runs on an included battery that lasts over 20 hours.

6.5 m cable and 20-hour battery runtime

A 6.5 metre (19.68 foot) cable gives the speaker freedom to move around a room or stage while staying connected to the recorder. The built-in battery supports more than 20 hours of continuous operation, covering full-day shoots without a recharge. The frequency response spans 65Hz to 18kHz, reproducing speech clearly while rolling off very low rumble and extreme highs. The 74dB signal-to-noise ratio keeps background hiss low in quiet environments.

3.5mm TRS connection limits

The microphone uses a 3.5mm TRS jack, so it plugs directly into camera mic inputs and older smartphone headset ports. Devices that only offer a TRRS headset jack or a USB-C/Lightning port will need a separate adapter, which is not included. The omnidirectional pattern picks up sound evenly from all directions, which helps when the speaker turns their head but also captures more room ambience than a directional capsule would. There is no gain control or mute switch on the unit itself.
