SKU CH-FVDQ-QPYTA

Protects network equipment from lightning surges with two inline RJ45 adapters

  • Two adapters included for multiple connection points
  • Straight-through RJ45 design maintains signal integrity
  • Compact connector fits standard Ethernet ports

Two-port lightning protector

The YEPLOOK adapter provides inline surge protection for RJ45 network links. Two straight-through connectors let you insert the device between a wall jack and a router, switch or PC without rewiring. Each unit is supplied new and ready to install.

Installations with exposed cabling

The pair suits homes or small offices where outdoor or long indoor runs risk transient voltage damage. Buyers who need PoE passthrough, shielded connectors or a rated clamping voltage should look at a different product.

Questions about this item

Will the lightning protection affect my Gigabit Ethernet speed through this adapter?

The adapter passes all eight wires straight through, so Gigabit negotiation is unaffected as long as the cabling and connected devices support it.

Does the RJ45 interface cap the protection level at a specific surge rating?

The product is described as a lightning protection adapter with RJ45 connectors, but no surge-current or voltage rating is provided in the specifications.
