Adapts M-key NVMe SSDs in 2230, 2245, 2260 or 2280 sizes to PCIe 3.0 x16, x8 or x4 slots at full speed
This adapter connects M Key M.2 NVMe SSDs to a PCIe 3.0 slot at full speed. It supports module lengths of 2230, 2245, 2260 and 2280. The card fits into X16, X8 or X4 slots. It is designed for builders adding fast storage to a desktop system.
The adapter only works with M Key NVMe drives and will not accept B Key SATA modules. It uses the PCIe 3.0 interface, so bandwidth is limited to that generation's capabilities. Buyers needing support for SATA-based M.2 drives or newer PCIe generations must choose a different solution.

The adapter accepts all four lengths; choose the one that matches the physical size of your M‑key NVMe drive.
The card routes the drive through a single PCIe 3.0 lane, so the SSD runs at its normal x1 speed even when plugged into a x16, x8 or x4 slot.
