Four-port USB 3.0 add-in card for desktop PCs

This YEPLOOK expansion card adds four external USB 3.0 ports to a desktop system through a single PCI Express slot. It is aimed at users who need more high-speed connections for external drives, cameras or peripherals without replacing the motherboard. The card fits x1, x4, x8 or x16 slots, so it works in most available expansion positions.

NEC 720201 chipset with 15-pin SATA power input

The onboard NEC 720201 controller provides 5 Gbps bandwidth across all four ports. A 15-pin SATA power connector supplies the extra current needed for bus-powered devices, reducing the chance of port droop under heavy load. The low-profile bracket keeps the card compatible with slim chassis, while the standard-height bracket is also included for full-size cases. Buyers who need internal USB headers or more than four ports should look at alternative models.
