Gym Turf for Sled Training

This 4x33ft artificial grass roll provides a continuous sled track with a low-profile 0.8in pile. The dense synthetic fibres and SBR latex backing resist tearing under heavy lateral force. It is intended for strength and conditioning facilities that need a permanent or semi-permanent pushing surface.

Replaces Interlocking Tiles or Concrete

The seamless roll removes gaps that catch sled runners and eliminates the hardness of bare floors. Upgrade when your current surface shifts under load, causes inconsistent drag, or damages equipment. The integrated drainage holes also solve moisture pooling that occurs on non-porous mats.

Check Floor Area and Substrate

Verify you have a flat, clean area measuring at least 4ft by 33ft for full roll-out. Confirm the subfloor is compatible with the SBR latex backing to prevent adhesion issues or chemical reaction. Ensure the low 0.8in pile height meets your specific sled and footwear requirements.

Questions about this item

What backing and dimensions does the 4 ft by 33 ft turf need to stay flat on a gym floor?

The SBR latex backing prevents stretching and tearing under lateral force, keeping the 4 ft by 33 ft roll flat and secure without additional adhesive.

How is the 0.8 in pile turf installed, and what step prevents seams from shifting?

Unroll the continuous 4 ft by 33 ft section; the heavy SBR latex backing grips the floor so the surface stays in place without tape or glue.

What cleaning routine keeps the drainage holes in the 0.8 in pile turf clear over time?

Sweep debris, then mop or hose the surface; the integrated drainage holes let moisture pass through so the backing stays dry and odor-free.
