60 rubber grommets for 1/8" cable railing

This pack supplies sixty rubber protector sleeves sized for 1/8" cable railing systems. Each grommet has an inner diameter of 5/32" and an outer diameter of 9/16". They are intended for deck builders and DIY installers fitting metal posts with hole diameters between 13/32" and 15/32". The rubber resists UV rays, corrosion and weathering in coastal environments. They are not suited for cable diameters other than 1/8" or for non-metal post materials.

Press-fit installation into pre-drilled post holes

Installation is a simple press fit: push each grommet firmly into the post hole before threading the cable through. The sleeves seat quickly in metal posts within the stated hole range. Problems arise when hole diameters fall outside 13/32" to 15/32", causing loose fit or difficult insertion. No tools or adhesives are required, but misaligned holes can make seating uneven. They are not designed for wood posts or oversized cable.
