Clear Chair Mat for Low-Pile Carpet

This two-pack of rectangular mats protects low-pile carpet from rolling chair wheels. Each piece measures 48 by 36 inches and is 1/8 inch thick. The transparent PVC lets the carpet show through while matching various flooring styles. They suit home offices, studios and standard workplaces.

Slip-Resistant Surface Under Daily Use

A frosted top layer gives wheels extra traction so the chair does not slide unexpectedly. Studded undersides grip the carpet pile to keep each mat from shifting during repeated movement. The PVC construction resists wear and tear through continuous daily rolling. Water-repellent surfaces allow quick wipe-down of dust and dirt.

Check Carpet Pile and Floor Space Before Buying

These mats are designed for low-pile carpet only and may not grip thicker pile securely. Verify the 48 by 36 inch footprint fits your desk area and allows full chair travel. The rollable design helps storage but the material must lie flat before use. Buyers needing protection for hard floors or thick carpet should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the 48" x 36" mat generate any noise or heat when a chair rolls on it all day?

No, the PVC mat has no moving parts or electronics, so it produces no noise or heat during continuous use.

What type of flooring must I already have for the 1/8" studded backing to grip properly?

The studded underside is designed to grip low-pile carpet firmly; it will not anchor on hard floors or thick pile.

Will the clear 36" x 48" surface show marks from older chair wheels with worn treads?

The frosted top resists scuffs, and any dust or marks wipe off easily thanks to the water-repellent PVC surface.
