140mm Magnetic Dust Filter Pair

Two 140mm square nylon filters with 80-mesh weave and magnetic frames attach to steel chassis without tools. Supplied gel pads and screws offer alternative mounting on non-magnetic surfaces. Intended for PC builders who want quick dust protection on intake or exhaust fan openings.

80 Mesh Airflow Constraint

The 0.2mm aperture blocks fine dust and pet hair but raises static pressure compared with coarser meshes. Builders running high-static-pressure fans or densely packed radiators should verify that the added restriction fits their thermal budget. No airflow or pressure-drop figures are provided by the supplier.

Nylon 80 Mesh Specification

The nylon mesh measures 0.2mm per opening and is rated at 80 mesh, the single figure that determines filtration density versus airflow. Buyers who need higher airflow at the expense of finer filtration should choose a lower mesh count instead.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 80 mesh nylon version or the 50 mesh PVC version?

The 80 mesh nylon filter has a 0.2 mm aperture that blocks finer dust and pet hair, while the 50 mesh PVC filter has a 0.3 mm aperture for higher airflow.

How much does the 0.2 mm aperture restrict airflow in a real build?

The 80 mesh nylon material still allows air to pass while stopping particles down to 0.2 mm, so typical case fans maintain adequate cooling with only a small pressure drop.

What does the magnetic frame attach to and what are the limits?

The weak magnetic frame sticks to any steel chassis panel without tools; it also works with the included M5 screws or adhesive stickers for non-magnetic surfaces.
