  • breakout board simplifies wiring in mining rigs
  • new condition guarantees full factory performance

1200W Platinum server PSU kit

This 1200W platinum-rated power supply kit includes a server PSU, a breakout board and 12 cables that convert 6-pin outputs to 6+2-pin PCIe connectors. It is built for mining rigs, GPU clusters or workstations that draw high, sustained power from a single 12 V rail.

Breakout board limits cable reach and airflow

The breakout board adds a fixed junction between the PSU and the 12 PCIe cables, so cable routing space and case depth must accommodate the extra bulk. Platinum efficiency reduces waste heat but does not eliminate the need for adequate chassis airflow around the dense connector cluster.

Questions about this item

Is the 1200W Platinum kit sufficient for a build that needs 12 PCIe power connectors?

The kit includes a breakout board and 12 cables that each convert a 6-pin output to a 6+2-pin PCIe connector, giving you exactly 12 GPU power plugs from the single 1200W unit.

What does the 1200W Platinum rating mean when the supply is installed in a server chassis?

Platinum certification indicates the unit meets high efficiency targets at typical server loads, so it draws less AC power and produces less heat while delivering up to 1200W to the components.
