USB 3.0 SATA Enclosure for 2.5" and 3.5" Drives

This enclosure connects a 2.5 inch or 3.5 inch SATA hard drive or SSD to a computer via a USB 3.0 Type-A port. It is intended for users who want to access data from bare drives without installing them internally. The ASM 1153E chipset handles the USB-to-SATA bridge and supports the UASP transport protocol for lower latency.

Supports Drives up to 10 TB with SATA III Speeds

The enclosure accepts standard SATA III drives and remains backward compatible with SATA II and SATA I devices. It can accommodate drives up to 10 TB in capacity, providing ample headroom for large backup sets or media libraries. Transfer rates reach up to 5 Gbps when the host port is USB 3.0, falling back to USB 2.0 or 1.1 speeds on older ports.

Fanless Aluminium Design

The black case measures 188 by 110 by 30 mm and uses passive cooling, so it runs silently during normal operation. A DC 12 V 2 A power adapter with a US plug is supplied to spin up 3.5 inch drives that require external power. The 55 cm USB 3.0 cable keeps the enclosure within easy reach of the host system.
