2000W Platinum Server PSU

This 2000 watt platinum efficiency power supply is built for Dell PowerEdge servers including the R730, R630, R530, R830, R930 and C4130 models. It delivers high capacity power for dense rack deployments where consistent uptime is critical. The unit matches part numbers D2000E-S2, DPS-2000EB-2A, XYK93 and 960VR for direct replacement.

Hot-plug redundant module for PowerEdge

The supply slides into the server's redundant power bay and supports hot swap replacement without tools or downtime. It requires a compatible PowerEdge chassis with the matching power distribution board and backplane connectors. This design frees internal space by keeping power conversion inside the hot plug module rather than a fixed internal unit. Buyers needing non-redundant or desktop form factor power should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What is the maximum continuous power the 2000W Platinum unit can deliver to a PowerEdge R730?

The supply is rated for 2000 W continuous output, so it can sustain that load in a PowerEdge R730 as long as thermal limits are met.

How loud does the DPS-2000EB-2A fan run when the PSU operates at full load all day?

The internal fan speeds up under heavy load; at 2000 W it runs at high RPM, producing noticeable airflow noise typical of server-grade platinum units.
