  • Two-way unbalanced RCA channels with 10 kΩ in / 600 Ω out

Audio Extension Kit

This YINGHUA kit extends unbalanced RCA audio up to 20 km over a single SC fiber cable. It suits installers who need broadcast-grade sound in venues where copper picks up noise. The transceiver pair ships with a UK mains plug for immediate deployment. Digital sampling at 24-bit and 96 kHz preserves fidelity across the link.

Two-Way Fiber Link

A single strand carries both directions of audio without manual alignment thanks to optical dynamic technology. The design eliminates electromagnetic interference, radio-frequency interference and ground-loop current. Input impedance is 10 kΩ and output impedance is 600 Ω for direct connection to consumer and pro gear. Frequency response spans 20 Hz to 20 kHz at a 1:1 level ratio.

Distance And Headroom

The standard reach is 20 km with optional models covering up to 120 km for campus-scale runs. It comfortably handles stereo feeds from game consoles, TV boxes, hi-fi systems or conference installations. The link runs out when the fiber path exceeds the chosen distance tier or when balanced I/O is required.

Questions about this item

Will the optical transceiver modules need replacement after extended use?

The kit uses fixed SC fibre interfaces with no user-serviceable optical modules, so no transceiver replacement is expected during normal operation.

What limits the maximum transmission distance of 20 km?

The 20 km reach is set by the optical link budget of the SC fibre connection; the hardware supports 0-120 km optional range with appropriate fibre.

Does the unit generate noticeable heat or fan noise when running continuously?

The extender operates with all-digital optical transmission and no active cooling, so it runs silently and produces minimal heat during all-day use.
