240W desktop replacement PSU

This 240-watt unit is built as a direct replacement for Dell Inspiron 3250, 3650, 3656, Optiplex 3040, 3046, 5040, 7040 and Vostro 3250, 3650, 3653 systems. It suits owners of those specific models who need a new power supply matching the original specifications. It is not for builders working with standard ATX cases or motherboards that require a different connector layout or higher wattage.

Proprietary fit and connector check

Installation follows the original chassis design, so the unit slides into the same bay and uses the same mounting points. The main difficulty is confirming the exact part number — H62JR, 0M2WH or 3RK5T — because Dell used several revisions across the listed families and the connectors differ between revisions. Buyers who order without matching the label on their old unit often receive a supply that will not plug into their motherboard.
