250 W modular server PSU

This 250 W server power supply delivers ATX12V output through a fully modular cable set. It is built for compact desktops, all-in-one systems, network terminals, industrial quasi-systems and POS machines. The unit ships with a EU mains plug and a black metal enclosure.

ATX12V limits at 250 W

The DC-output rails provide 3.3 V at 8 A, 5 V at 7 A, 12 V at 15 A, -12 V at 0.5 A and 5 V standby at 2 A. Combined 3.3 V and 5 V output is capped at 35 W while the 12 V rail supplies up to 180 W. Maximum peak power reaches 400 W but sustained loads must stay within the 250 W rating.

Metal enclosure with hydraulic fan

A 12 cm hydraulic-bearing fan behind a mesh cover moves high airflow at low noise. Full modular connectors include one 24-pin motherboard plug, one 4-pin CPU plug, one large 4-pin fan header and two SATA drive plugs. The 15 cm depth fits tight chassis while the metal housing aids heat dissipation.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 250 W or the 400 W version?

Only a single 250 W rated unit is offered; the 400 W figure is a peak maximum, not a separate model.

What does the 250 W rating actually deliver to my components?

It supplies up to 180 W on the 12 V rail, 35 W on 5 V, 25 W on 3.3 V, 10 W on 5 VSB and 6 W on -12 V simultaneously.

The ATX12V label — what does it cap in practice?

It means the 24-pin motherboard and 4-pin CPU connectors follow the ATX12V spec, limiting combined output to the rated 250 W.
