250 W replacement unit with 24+4 mainboard, three SATA and one IDE connector, 60 cm CPU cable, fits OptiPlex 390, 790, 990, 3010, 7010, 9010
This 250W unit replaces the F250AD-00, L250PS-00, D250AD-00 and AC250PS-00 power supplies found in OptiPlex 390, 790, 990, 3010, 7010 and 9010 desktop towers. It is intended for IT technicians or owners restoring these specific business PCs to working order. Builders using standard ATX cases or proprietary small-form-factor chassis not listed here should look elsewhere.
The harness provides a 24+4 mainboard plug, three SATA power leads and a single 4-pin IDE connector. The CPU auxiliary cable measures roughly 60cm, which may fall short in full-height towers where the socket sits far from the PSU mounting point. No PCIe power connectors are present, so discrete graphics cards requiring external power cannot be supported.
The steel housing measures approximately 17.5cm in length and uses a non-modular wiring layout. All leads exit the unit permanently, so cable routing space inside the target OptiPlex chassis must accommodate the full bundle. Mounting holes align with the original Dell bracket pattern for the listed DT models, ensuring a direct mechanical fit.

No published specifications for this item yet.
Check the label on your existing supply; if it lists any of those four part numbers, this replacement is the direct match for OptiPlex 390, 790, 990, 3010, 7010 and 9010 desktops.
The 250W limit is shared across the 24+4 mainboard connector, three SATA ports and one IDE port, so total component draw must stay within that ceiling.
The 24+4 plug feeds the motherboard and CPU, while the three SATA connectors supply up to three SATA hard drives or SSDs; an IDE port is also present for legacy devices.
