2x2 4K Video Wall Controller

This YINGHUA unit splits a single HDMI or VGA source across four HDMI displays in a 2-by-2 grid. It is built for installers and operators who need a large combined image wall for signage, control rooms or presentation spaces without a dedicated graphics card.

Installation notes and common issues

Connect the source with a standard HDMI cable up to 10 metres AWG24 and run four output cables of the same length and gauge to the screens. Power the device from the included 5 V DC 1 A adapter on 100-240 V AC. The remote requires a separate battery. A frequent mistake is forgetting to set the input resolution to 4K at 30 Hz or lower, which the scaler cannot exceed.

Capacity and headroom

The controller accepts 4K30, 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 576p, 576i or 480p input and down-scales each quadrant to 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 576p, 576i or 480p output. It handles eight splicing layouts including 1x3, 3x1, 1x4 and 4x1, and rotates the top two panels 180 degrees in 2x2 mode. It cannot pass native 4K to each screen, output higher than 1080p, or support more than four displays.
