4-Channel Audio Fiber Extender

The YINGHUA extender transmits four balanced audio channels over a single SC fibre link up to 20 km. It uses 24-bit 96 kHz digital sampling for high-fidelity signal transport with no electromagnetic or radio-frequency interference. The unit is designed for professional audio distribution in broadcast, conferencing and fixed-installation environments.

Suits multi-room audio and long-haul signal paths

Installers who need to send four analogue XLR feeds across a campus or between buildings without ground-loop noise will benefit from the optical isolation. The extender does not carry video, USB or control data, so users requiring KVM switching or HDMI transport should look at a different product class.

Fits into a fibre-backed audio chain

Each end connects to balanced XLR equipment with 10 kΩ input and 600 Ω output impedance at unity gain. The transceiver pair requires only the supplied AU mains plug and a single-mode SC patch cable; no alignment or calibration is needed. It frees the system from copper length limits and electrical noise in harsh RF environments.

Questions about this item

What audio connectors does the YINGHUA 4-Channel Audio Fiber Extender need on my existing equipment?

The unit uses balanced XLR connectors for both input and output, so your sources and destination gear must provide matching XLR ports for the four channels.

Will the 20 km single-mode SC fiber link work with older analog audio gear I want to keep?

Yes, the extender converts analog XLR signals to digital optical and back again, so legacy balanced audio equipment connects directly without extra adapters.

How can I confirm the 24-bit 96 kHz digital link is running correctly after installation?

Verify clean audio on all four channels with no noise or drop-outs; the optical dynamic design requires no manual adjustment, so stable playback indicates the link is operating as intended.
