  • Metal chassis shields analogue audio from electromagnetic interference
  • Compact desktop footprint fits alongside amplifiers, streamers or multi-room setups

What this switcher does

The YINGHUA 4-way bi-directional RCA audio switcher routes stereo signals in two configurations: one source to four destinations or four sources to one destination. A front-panel rotary knob selects the active channel without any signal processing or external power. It is built for installers and hobbyists who need simple, lossless path switching between line-level devices.

Who should use it and who should not

This unit suits anyone distributing a single source to multiple amplifiers or active speakers, or anyone selecting between several sources into one amplifier. It does not suit users who require remote control, automatic switching, digital audio formats such as optical or coaxial, or the ability to listen to more than one zone at the same time.

The specification that decides fit

The only signal interface provided is analogue stereo RCA; no digital inputs, outputs or conversion circuitry are present. If your sources or destinations use HDMI, optical, coaxial or USB audio, this switcher cannot connect them without separate converters.

Questions about this item

Does the switcher require external power to operate?

No external power is required; the YINGHUA unit is a passive device that operates solely through the mechanical rotary knob without any power adapter or batteries.

How do I connect four source devices to one amplifier using this switcher?

Plug each source into the four IN/OUT group jacks, connect the amplifier to the single IN/OUT jack, then rotate the knob to select the active source.

Will the rotary switch mechanism wear out or need replacement over time?

The specialised audio rotary switch is built for repeated manual switching; no scheduled maintenance or replacement interval is specified by the manufacturer.
