460W replacement PSU for Dell XPS desktops

This 460 watt unit replaces the original power supply in Dell XPS 8910, 8920 and 8930 systems. It delivers the rated output through the proprietary connector layout used by those models. The part matches the D460AM-03, GJXN1, 0GJXN1 and DPS-460DB-15 A designations. Builders restoring or upgrading one of these towers can install it directly.

No bundled accessories or software included

The package contains only the power supply itself. No cables, mounting brackets, software media or licences are supplied. Buyers who need additional PCIe power leads, a different form factor or a higher wattage for expanded graphics configurations will have to source those separately.

Questions about this item

Will the fan need cleaning or replacement after extended use?

The unit uses a single internal cooling fan; dust buildup on the blades can reduce airflow, so periodic cleaning with compressed air is recommended.

What thermal limit appears first during continuous 460W load?

The power supply relies on its internal fan for heat dissipation; sustained full-load operation may trigger over-temperature protection if case airflow is restricted.
