4K HDMI KVM Extender 120m

This YINGHUA extender transmits HDMI and USB signals up to 120 metres over a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable. It includes a transmitter and receiver pair, supports local loop-out on the transmitter side, and provides IR remote control plus 3.5 mm audio output on both units. The set is powered from a US-plug supply and is intended for new installations.

Suits point-to-point control rooms and signage

The kit suits integrators who need to place a source device far from a display while keeping keyboard, mouse and IR control at the remote end. It does not suit installations that require switching between multiple sources or extending beyond the 120 metre cable limit.

4K 30 Hz maximum output

The receiver delivers a maximum of 4K at 30 Hz, with 1080p and lower resolutions also supported. Bandwidth is rated at 340 MHz and the link runs at 3.4 Gbps per lane, so the 30 Hz ceiling at 4K is the single specification that determines whether this extender matches the display timing required.

Questions about this item

Does the transmitter run hot or draw much power when it extends 4K video 120 metres all day?

The extender is described as low power consumption and low temperature for safe continuous operation.

What cables and peripherals must I already have to use the USB keyboard and mouse extension?

You need Cat5e or Cat6 cable between the units, HDMI cables for source and display, and standard USB keyboard and mouse.

Will my older 1080p monitor work with the loop-out while the remote side runs at 4K 30 Hz?

The loop-out mirrors the input up to 4K, and the remote output supports 1080p, 720p and 480p alongside 4K 30 Hz.
