1x8 HDMI Splitter for 4K@30Hz Sources

This YINGHUA 4KHS109P unit takes a single HDMI input and distributes it to eight outputs. It supports video formats at 8, 10 or 12-bit colour depth. The plastic enclosure houses the splitter and the package includes a US-plug power supply. It is suited for installers who need to show the same 4K@30Hz source on multiple displays simultaneously.

Bandwidth capped at 340 MHz for 4K@30Hz

The 340 MHz bandwidth limit means the switch passes 4K resolution only at 30 Hz. Higher refresh rates or deeper colour modes at 4K require more bandwidth than this device provides. 3D content is supported within the same resolution and refresh constraints. Each of the eight outputs mirrors the input signal without independent scaling or format conversion.

Verify source outputs 4K@30Hz or lower

Before ordering, confirm that your source device can output at 4K@30Hz or a compatible lower resolution. Displays must accept the same timing and colour depth sent by the source. The splitter does not downscale or upconvert, so mismatched EDID data may result in no picture on some screens. A US-style mains socket is required for the included power adapter.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 1x8 version or a different port count?

The 4KHS109P is a 1 in 8 out splitter, so one source feeds up to eight displays simultaneously.

What does 4K@30Hz actually deliver on my screen?

It supports 4K resolution at 30 Hz with 8, 10 or 12 bit colour depth over HDMI.

How does the 340 MHz bandwidth limit what I can connect?

The 340 MHz bandwidth caps the signal at 4K 30 Hz; higher refresh rates or deeper colour at 4K would exceed it.
