4x2 HDMI 2.1 Matrix Switch

This HDMI 2.1 matrix switch connects four signal sources to two display terminals. It handles 8K resolution at 60 Hz on the first output and 4K at 120 Hz on the second. The unit supports HDR and HDCP 2.3 for protected content playback. A 3.5 mm stereo jack extracts audio from the second HDMI output.

Build integration and flexibility

Four HDMI inputs accept consoles, PCs or media players without cable swapping. Two independent outputs drive separate monitors or a monitor and projector simultaneously. The stereo headphone jack provides local audio monitoring from the second output. HDCP 2.3 compliance ensures compatibility with copy-protected streaming sources.

Capacity and headroom

The first output delivers up to 8K at 60 Hz for high-resolution workstations or 8K media playback. The second output reaches 4K at 120 Hz, suitable for high-refresh gaming displays. Deep colour support at 8, 10 and 12 bit preserves gradient detail. Builders needing more than two simultaneous displays or additional input ports will require a larger matrix.

Questions about this item

Does the 8K 60Hz output maintain full bandwidth during extended gaming sessions?

HDMI OUT1 supports up to 8K at 60 Hz and OUT2 up to 4K at 60 Hz, both rated for continuous operation at those resolutions and refresh rates

How much heat does the unit produce when all four inputs and both outputs are active for hours?

The matrix runs passively with no fan; under full load it stays warm to the touch but remains within normal operating temperature for HDMI 2.1 switchgear

Which cables and source devices must I already have to use the 4×2 matrix?

Four HDMI 2.1 source devices, two HDMI displays, and standard HDMI cables; the 3.5 mm stereo jack on OUT2 works with any analogue headphones or speakers
