4x4 HDMI 2.0 Matrix KVM Switch

The YINGHUA matrix routes any of four HDMI sources to any of four displays simultaneously. Each output can show the same image or a different source independently. It handles 4K resolution at 60Hz with HDCP 2.2 compliance for protected content playback.

Passive operation with RS-232 control

The unit runs without active cooling, so it adds no audible noise to a rack or desk setup. Power draw is limited to the included UK-plug supply. RS-232 and Ethernet ports allow automated switching from a control system or scheduled scripts.

IR remote and EDID management included

A handheld IR remote gives instant manual switching without reaching the front panel. Intelligent EDID handling negotiates optimal timing with each connected display, reducing handshake failures when sources or sinks are changed.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 4x4 HDMI matrix and what step is often missed?

Connect up to four HDMI sources to the inputs and four displays to the outputs, power the unit using the supplied UK plug, then set each output to the desired input via front buttons, IR remote, RS-232 or Ethernet; the step often missed is configuring EDID so every source recognises the connected displays correctly.

What maintenance or replacement will the matrix need later?

No user-serviceable parts are inside; keep ventilation slots clear of dust and verify firmware updates via the RS-232 or Ethernet port if the manufacturer releases them.

What limit appears first during sustained 4K 60 Hz use?

The HDMI 2.0 bandwidth ceiling of 60 Hz 4:4:4 per channel is the first hard limit; all four outputs stay within spec, so thermal throttling is unlikely under normal ventilation.
