Five-input HDMI 2.1 KVM switch

This HDMI 2.1 switch routes five source devices to a single display. It supports 8K resolution at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz for high-refresh gaming. Deep colour up to 36-bit and 7.1-channel audio formats are passed through without compression. The unit is aimed at users who need to share one monitor across multiple consoles or PCs.

Check your sources and display

Verify that each source device outputs HDMI 2.1 signals compatible with 48 Gbps bandwidth. The display must accept 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz to use the highest modes. External power is required, so a free USB port or wall adapter must be available. Ensure your HDMI cables are rated for the target resolution and refresh rate.

Integration into a multi-device setup

The switch sits between your sources and the screen, freeing HDMI ports on the display. IR remote and front-panel button let you change inputs without reaching behind equipment. Signal retiming skips disconnected ports automatically, keeping the active link stable. Supported audio formats include DTS-HD, Dolby TrueHD and LPCM 7.1 for home-theatre sound.

Questions about this item

Does the 5x1 HDMI 2.1 switch ship with cables or must they be bought separately?

The box contains the switch and an IR remote. Five HDMI cables for the sources and one for the display are not included and must be purchased separately.

When should I pick the 5x1 version instead of the 3x1 or 4x1 models?

Choose the 5x1 model when you need to connect five source devices — such as a PS5, Xbox, PC, streaming box and Blu-ray player — to one 8K 60Hz or 4K 120Hz display.

What does the 48 Gbps bandwidth mean for my 8K 60Hz monitor?

It carries the full 8K 60Hz signal without compression, and also supports 4K 120Hz and 1080P 240Hz with 30-bit or 36-bit deep colour.
