Professional biometric access control

The YINGHUA 5YBM10A combines facial recognition, fingerprint scanning and password entry in a single Linux-powered unit. An Atmel 9G25 processor running at 400MHz handles verification for up to 300 faces and 3,000 fingerprints. A 4×4 keypad and optional wireless remote give additional ways to unlock.

Wired network and USB integration

The device connects through TCP/IP or USB 2.0 for data transfer and system configuration. Lock output uses NO/NC contacts to drive an electric strike or maglock, while a door-open button and remote control provide local release. Alarms cover tamper, forced entry and door-held-open events.

Sub-second recognition at 30-80 cm

Facial and fingerprint matching completes in 0.3 seconds using 1:N or 1:1 modes, storing up to 200,000 event records. The Linux OS and Atmel platform maintain consistent throughput during continuous shift traffic without the slowdown seen in burst-only designs.
