6.25U XDA PBT Spacebar Keycap

This single PBT spacebar measures 6.25U in length and 9.85 mm in height with an XDA profile. It is dye-sublimated on five sides using a sublimation process that resists corrosion and heat. The keycap fits most Cherry MX, Kailh MX and compatible switches. Light yellow colouring is moulded through the material for lasting brightness.

Who it suits and who should look elsewhere

Mechanical-keyboard owners needing a replacement or accent spacebar in 6.25U XDA profile will find a direct fit. Buyers who want a full keycap set, a different profile such as SA or OEM, or a backlit-capable spacebar that lets light shine through should look elsewhere.

Deciding specification: 6.25U length

The 6.25U length is the critical dimension; it must match the stabiliser spacing of your keyboard's spacebar position. If your board uses a 7U, 6U or non-standard stabiliser layout this keycap will not fit. Verify the unit measurement before purchase.

Questions about this item

Does this 6.25U spacebar fit my Cherry MX or Kailh MX keyboard?

It fits most keyboards with Cherry MX- or Kailh MX-style switches that use a 6.25U spacebar stabiliser layout.

Will the XDA profile and 9.85 mm height feel different from my existing OEM or Cherry keycaps?

XDA is a uniform, lower profile so the spacebar will sit flatter and feel shorter than sculpted OEM or Cherry rows.

How can I confirm the dye-sublimated legends will not wear off after heavy use?

The five-side dye-sublimation process embeds colour into the PBT plastic, making legends resistant to fading and abrasion.
