It delivers 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps on 5 GHz for a combined link rate of 1200 Mbps. Two dual-band antennas and a 12 cm bracket are included for desktop mounting.

Suits builders adding Wi-Fi

This adapter fits any system with a spare PCIe slot and Windows 7, 8 or 10, letting you connect mice, keyboards, headsets and phones via Bluetooth. It will not work on laptops that lack a full-size PCIe slot or on operating systems outside the listed Windows versions.

Dual-band 802.11ac with 1200 Mbps link rate

The single figure that decides compatibility is the combined 1200 Mbps rating split between 2.4 GHz at 300 Mbps and 5 GHz at 867 Mbps. If your router or access point does not support 802.11ac on both bands you will not reach the advertised throughput.
