4x2 True Matrix Switch

The YINGHUA 8K HDR HDMI True Matrix 4x2 routes four HDMI sources to two independent displays. It extracts audio through optical, RCA stereo and ARC paths while supporting 5.1-channel formats. The unit suits multi-source setups that require simultaneous, separate routing to two screens.

Sustained 40 Gbps Bandwidth

A maximum transmission rate of 40 Gbps and 1 GHz bandwidth maintain signal integrity during continuous 8K or high-refresh 4K sessions. Deep-colour pipelines up to 16-bit at 2160p and 10-bit at 4320p operate without throttling. The 12 V 1.5 A adapter keeps the switch stable at a 300 mA working current across the full temperature range.

HDMI 2.1 Practical Limits

The switch passes 4320p at 50 or 60 Hz with YCC420 sampling and 2160p at up to 120 Hz. Input cables are limited to 3 metres for 8K, 5 metres for 4K and 10 metres for 1080p. Output runs extend to 12 metres at 1080p. Buyers needing longer 8K runs or more than two simultaneous outputs must look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How much power does the YINGHUA 8K HDR HDMI True Matrix 4x2 KVM Switch draw when running continuously?

The unit operates from a DC 12V 1.5A adapter with a maximum working current of 300mA, so typical consumption stays well below the adapter's 18W rating.

Which cables and sources must I already have to use the four HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs?

You need up to four HDMI source devices and two HDMI displays, plus standard HDMI cables rated for the resolution you want — 3 m for 8K, 5 m for 4K, 10 m for 1080p.

Will my older 1080p monitor work on one output while a 4K 120Hz display uses the other?

Yes, the matrix supports independent output resolutions; one port can deliver 1080p at up to 120 Hz while the other handles 4K at 120 Hz or 8K at 60 Hz.
