4K 30Hz HDMI Audio Extractor KVM

This YINGHUA bw-4kha01 extracts audio from an HDMI 1.4 source while passing 4K video at 30Hz to a display. It suits installers or home-theatre users who need separate analogue, optical or coaxial feeds for an external sound system.

5.1-channel ARC EDID audio outputs

The unit provides 5.1-channel audio extraction with ARC support and EDID handling. It delivers DTS-HD, Dolby TrueHD, DTS, Dolby-AC3 and DSD formats through 3.5 mm, optical and coaxial ports, removing the need for a separate AV receiver to split sound.

Check HDMI 1.4 30Hz limit and power

Verify your source and display both operate over HDMI 1.4 at 4096 x 2160 resolution and 30Hz refresh. The extractor requires the included 5V power cable and fits in a 62 x 59 x 19 mm aluminium enclosure.

Questions about this item

Will the HDMI 1.4 input or the EDID handling need attention after long-term use?

The HDMI 1.4 interface and ARC EDID function are solid-state with no moving parts, so no scheduled maintenance or replacement is required.

What limit appears first when the extractor runs continuously at 4096×2160@30Hz?

The HDMI 1.4 bandwidth caps video at 4096×2160@30Hz; sustained operation will not exceed this ceiling.

How much heat or noise does the 48.5 g aluminium unit produce during all-day operation?

The 48.5 g aluminium alloy shell passively dissipates heat; the device is silent and stays only warm during continuous use.
