SATA cable connects an eight-bay backplane RAID array in PowerEdge T440 servers
This cable connects a server backplane with eight SATA drive bays to the RAID controller in a PowerEdge T440 chassis. It is built new for administrators who need to populate all eight internal bays with SATA drives. The assembly carries both data and power signals in a single harness.
The part fits only the PowerEdge T440 server and will not work in other models or standard ATX cases. Buyers who need a cable for a different backplane or a non-Dell chassis cannot use this item. No other interface or drive type is supported beyond the SATA connection described.

No published specifications for this item yet.
It links the server's RAID controller to an eight-drive SATA backplane so all bays share the same data path.
The cable carries standard SATA signals, capping each connected drive at the SATA interface's native 6 Gb/s maximum.
