The ACR122U is a USB contactless smart card reader and writer for developers and integrators working with ISO 14443 and ISO 18092 tags. It supports MIFARE, FeliCa and NFC formats in access control, payment and attendance systems. The CCID-compliant interface allows direct use with PC/SC middleware across multiple platforms. Five writable UID keys are included for immediate testing.

USB full-speed power and silent operation

The device draws power from a standard USB full-speed port with no external supply required. An internal antenna handles communication up to 424 Kbps without moving parts, so the unit runs silently. Heat output is negligible during continuous read and write cycles. The compact metal housing stays cool to the touch in normal indoor use.

CCID-compliant USB interface
