What the set contains

This set provides ten transparent black keycaps moulded in PBT with an XDA profile height. The caps are designed for Cherry MX style mechanical switches and include a transparent layer that allows backlighting to shine through. Only the keycaps are supplied; no keyboard is included.

How they fit a build

The XDA profile gives a uniform height across all rows, so the caps sit at the same level whether used for alphas, modifiers or function keys. They replace existing MX-compatible keycaps without requiring stabiliser changes or plate modifications. The PBT material resists shine and wear, keeping legends clear over extended use.

Behaviour under sustained use

PBT construction maintains surface texture and colour consistency during long typing or gaming sessions. The transparent layer continues to transmit LED light evenly without yellowing or clouding. Fatigue resistance means the stems and walls retain their fit on the switches, preventing wobble or loosening over time.

Questions about this item

Will the PBT material start to shine or wear down after heavy daily typing?

PBT resists shine far better than ABS, so the legends and surface texture stay consistent even after prolonged use.

Do these keycaps rattle or produce extra noise compared with standard OEM caps?

XDA profile caps sit lower and have uniform thickness, which usually reduces wobble and keeps the sound profile close to stock.

My keyboard uses Cherry MX switches — will every cap in the 10-piece set fit the stems?

Yes, each cap is moulded for standard Cherry MX cross stems, so they press on directly without adapters.
