This new YINGHUA server power supply is built as a direct replacement for Dell XPS 7100, 8300 and 8500 desktops. It matches the original form factor and connector layout so installation is straightforward. The unit delivers 460 W of continuous power for the supported systems.

460 W output rating

The single specification that determines fit is the 460 W output rating. If your XPS model requires a higher wattage unit this supply will not meet that need. Buyers who need more power for additional drives or expansion cards should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 460W rating cover a fully loaded Dell XPS 8500 with a mid-range graphics card?

The 460W unit matches the original Dell specification for the XPS 8500, so it supports the same CPU and GPU combinations that Dell qualified for this chassis.

Does the D460AD-00 use a standard ATX connector layout for the XPS 7100 motherboard?

It is built to the Dell pin-out used in the XPS 7100, 8300 and 8500, so the 24-pin and CPU power plugs fit those boards directly without adapters.
