Dual Monitor KVM Switch 4x2

This KVM switch lets one keyboard and mouse control four computers across two monitors. It suits multi-system workstations, trading desks or lab benches where extended or mirrored desktop space is needed. Each connected PC must already support dual-display output for the extended modes to function.

Capacity and headroom: 4K at 60 Hz

Maximum resolution reaches 3840x2160 at 60 Hz, with fallback compatibility down to 480i. Three display modes are available: spanned single desktop, main-plus-extended desktop, or two independent host desktops. The switch runs out of headroom when a source cannot drive two simultaneous outputs or when a resolution above 4K 60 Hz is required.

HDMI 2.0 with EDID emulation

Every input port includes an EDID emulator so each PC retains its display configuration during switching. The USB 2.0 hub handles keyboard and mouse sharing without additional drivers. Buyers who need DisplayPort, USB-C or higher-bandwidth video paths should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will this 4x2 KVM switch work with my older PCs that only output 1080p at 60Hz?

Yes, the switch supports 1080p at 60Hz alongside 4K@60Hz, so legacy PCs can share the dual monitors without resolution issues.

How can I verify the EDID emulators are keeping each PC's display settings correct after I connect everything?

Each input port has an EDID emulator that maintains the correct display information, so your PCs should retain their resolution and refresh rate settings when you switch between them.

Which cables are included and what must I buy separately to connect four computers and two monitors?

The box contains the KVM switch unit; you will need to purchase four HDMI cables for the monitor outputs and four USB cables for keyboard and mouse connections to each PC.
