This pack contains ten replacement ink dampers built for DX5 print heads. They are made for solvent, dye and pigment inks and fit Forepson XP600 and TX800, Mimaki JV33, JV5 and CJV30, and Mutoh Galaxy Twinjet printers. The PP material housing and imported filter element are designed to hold negative pressure and prevent ink drops during operation.

Solvent-ink filtration limits

The dampers filter ink before it reaches the print head and are rated for solvent, dye and pigment formulations. They rely on the DX5 head's own negative-pressure system, so they cannot compensate for a worn or mismatched head assembly. The filter media is not serviceable; once flow degrades the whole unit must be replaced.
