Replacement Ear Pads for MDR-ZX310 Series

These 72 mm black leather-and-sponge cushions fit Sony MDR-ZX310, K518, K518DJ and K81 headphones. The pair renews worn original pads and restores the seal around each ear. Soft memory foam padding adds comfort for long sessions. No retail packaging is included.

Upgrade From Worn or Flattened Original Pads

The pads replace factory cushions that have cracked, hardened or lost their shape over time. A fresh pair restores passive isolation and bass response that deteriorates when the original seal fails. The jump is worth it when comfort drops or sound leaks become noticeable.

Comfort and Isolation for Daily Listening

The 72 mm diameter matches the earcups on the listed models and the leather surface wipes clean. Memory foam conforms to the head for hours of use without pressure points. The design does not add active noise cancellation or change the driver tuning. Builders needing a different diameter or colour must look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 72mm diameter pads cover the driver housing on my MDR-ZX310?

The pads measure about 72mm across, matching the listed size for the MDR-ZX310, K518, K518DJ and K81 models.

How do I attach the pads without tearing the leather?

Stretch the flexible leather-and-sponge rim over the earcup lip; work slowly around the circle so the memory foam seats evenly.

When should I replace these pads again?

Replace when the leather surface cracks or the sponge loses its spring, typically after extended daily use.
