YINGHUA Ear Pads for DT880 Headphones

These replacement ear pads are made specifically for the Beyerdynamic DT880 headset. They use memory sponge to improve noise isolation and deliver a softer, more elastic fit. The package includes two pads so both sides can be refreshed at once. Installation only requires removing the worn cushions and fitting the new ones.

Ideal for DT880 owners with flattened or torn pads

Listeners who want to restore comfort and isolation on their DT880 will benefit immediately. The pads are not made for any other headphone model, so owners of different Beyerdynamic or third-party headsets should look elsewhere. Buyers needing leather, velour or hybrid materials are not served by this sponge-only option.

100 x 100 x 25 mm sponge cushions in black

The pads measure approximately 100 millimetres by 100 millimetres by 25 millimetres (3.94 by 3.94 by .98 inches) and come in black. This exact size and the DT880-specific mounting are the only specifications that determine fit. If your headset uses a different diameter or attachment method, these pads will not work.

Questions about this item

How much thicker will the 25 mm pads make the DT880 earcups sit on my head?

Each pad is about 25 mm deep so the cups sit roughly one centimetre further out than the original thin cushions.

Are these pads a direct press-on fit for the DT880 or do they need adhesive?

They are designed as a direct replacement; you simply pull off the old pads and press the new ones onto the existing mounting ring.

Will the 100 mm diameter cover the whole driver opening on my DT880?

The pads measure approximately 100 mm across, matching the DT880 earcup diameter for full coverage.
