Polaris 512 Spectra printhead filter

This 2.5 µm replacement filter removes fine particles from UV ink before they reach the Polaris 512 Spectra printhead. The 45 mm diameter housing connects to 5×3 mm or 6×4 mm ink tubes for direct inline installation. It is supplied as a pack of five new disc filters for compatible flatbed printers.

Sustained filtration under continuous printing

During long print runs the filter traps debris that would otherwise accumulate in the printhead nozzles, keeping ink flow steady and reducing the chance of blockages. The corrosion-resistant construction maintains its pore structure when exposed to solvent-based UV inks over time. It is not intended for aqueous ink systems or for printheads that require a different micron rating.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the YINGHUA Ecos Solvent UV Ink Filter 512 generate during continuous daily operation?

The filter is a passive 45 mm disc with a 2.5 µm mesh, so it adds no heat or noise to the Polaris 512 Spectra printhead system.

Which ink tubes and fittings must already be in place for the 45 mm filter to connect without extra parts?

The filter accepts 5×3 mm and 6×4 mm tubing, so those tube sizes and matching barbed fittings are required before installation.
