Extracts stereo audio from a 1080p HDMI signal to a 3.5 mm jack while passing video through, driver-free and powered from the source
This compact KVM switch extracts analogue stereo audio from an HDMI signal and sends the video onward unchanged. It suits PC, laptop or HDTV users who need a separate 3.5 mm output for headphones or an amplifier without adding a powered converter.
No drivers or external power adapter are required; the unit draws what it needs from the HDMI source. The only common issue is a source that cannot supply enough current, which may cause intermittent audio or video drop-outs.
The HDMI 1.3 compliant link handles full 1080P resolution at 60 Hz while the 3.5 mm jack delivers stereo audio simultaneously. It cannot process higher resolutions, HDR metadata or multi-channel formats, so 4K or surround-sound setups will need a different device.

Verify the display shows a stable 19201080@60Hz image with no flicker or colour shift, and check that audio plays through the 3.5mm jack when headphones or an amplifier are plugged in.
The box contains the main unit, a user manual, and one mini USB cable; you will need to supply your own HDMI cables for the input and output connections.
This single model is compliant with HDMI 1.3 and provides a 3.5mm stereo audio output, so it matches those requirements directly.
