HDMI KVM Extender over IP Cat5e/6 200M

This HDMI KVM extender transmits video, audio and USB control signals up to 200 metres over a single Cat5e or Cat6 cable using standard TCP/IP networking. It supports point-to-point, one-to-many and cascaded topologies through a network switch. The pure-hardware design requires no driver installation and works with PC, laptop or DVR sources.

Sustained operation at 1080p resolution

The extender maintains 480p, 720p and 1080p output continuously over the 200-metre link without compression artefacts. Audio is delivered at 32 kHz, 44.1 kHz and 48 kHz sample rates throughout extended sessions. USB mouse and keyboard signals remain responsive under constant use, and the 802.3 Ethernet foundation keeps the stream stable across cascaded switches.

Thermal and power profile in normal use

Each sender and receiver unit draws 3 W from a 5 V/1 A DC adapter, producing minimal heat inside the 163 x 87 x 24 mm enclosure. Operating temperature range is 0 to 45 °C with 10 to 80 % relative humidity, and no active cooling is required. The low power draw and fanless construction keep acoustic output negligible in quiet environments.
